Dynamic Braking Resistors
Locally manufactured and assembled in Brisbane 2 x Braking resistors. Element style resistor has IP66 rating using Cynebar 11mm diameter Incoloy 800 heating elements. Incoloy Heating Elements with Nichrome wire can withstand high temperatures and absorb typical thermal loads in braking applications. Enclosure terminal box IP23, made from 304SS, locally laser cut, folded and welded.
Dynamic Braking Resistors are ideal for AC and DC motors where direct current is applied to cause generation of power which is absorbed by the resistor. Typically for cranes, hoists, rubber mills, large inertia drives and traction.
